The art you see here today is a mix of Joris’ latest impressions of life, of his feelings, what happened to him, around him. Information about the art pieces by name: FOREVER LIVING This root of a tree caught my eye as if we were communicating. I immediately realized I was going to make it immortal. Working with this wonderful root made me feel vulnerable and strong at the same time. FREEDOM Looking at the pure blue sky gives me a great feeling of happiness, of total freedom, peace and love. Like being in paradise. I wish you the same. CONNECTED Deconnected or connected? That is often the question in our existence. So, what about you? How do you feel today? And with whom or what are you really connected? PROTECTED During our life we need to feel protected. By others, by ourselves, by nature, animals, through the places where we live, sleep, eat, work, love,.. A form, a feeling of peace, of being who we really are. A warm feeling with on top of it a gentle nice smile. DEDICATION OF BEAUTY Life, I found out, is also about coloring the dots, some more precise than others. Walking your own path, sending out signals of love and happiness around you. It will return,... one day... I promise. HIDDEN Signs are everywhere, hidden or not. How do we interpret them? Or do we just leave it for what it is? Or does curiosity takes over? Can we even figure it out or we never will? Maybe hidden is better. Let me think about it a little longer. MOVE IT AROUND Travelling the world or just in your own place is good for the brain. Keeps the senses going, all of them.Infuences, old ones, new ones. In all directions. Rock your world. Alone or with others. And put that unique smile of yours on your face. MARS DREAMS Sometimes my mind goes to other places, like Mars or another dimension. Dreaming or is it reality? Or both? Sometimes I do not know. But does it matter? Sometimes... it does... or not... SHINY ISLAND RED Are we moving or is the world around us moving all the time? What are we looking for in life? What we see or what we not see? Start asking yourself these questions. Or not. What are your answers? And never forget... you are a piece of gold. What are your answers? And never forget... you are a piece of gold. DANCE OF LIFE Dancing, singing... it is a unique piece of art of movement which belongs to us human beings. Body and soul moving together. Passion to the top. Let's move your soul... dance as if it was your last breath. CHANGING FORMS Now we are here, tomorrow not. Or in a different form, a different way of being. Who will tell us? You? Me? Someone else? We trans-form or not? We change form or not? Do you think about these things or just... not?! UNIVERSE ANNO 2162 Imagine, with open or closed eyes what you see during your timel travel. I saw it, I painted it. At least a piece of it. And I will keep on doing it. BE DIFFERENT It is all gold that is beautiful, wonderful and exiting. Be proud to dare to be different in a perfect world. Shine from within. Shine even more. Be you. Always. Never give up. You and... you. LEFT AND RIGHT BRAIN The connection between the left and the right brain gives wonderful connections. This moment is captured when love, unity, honesty, integrity, gratefulness, empathy and peace are finding each other. Over and over again. Wow! ---------------------------------------------- More information about the artist. Joris Plu has been designing and creating art for over 25 years. Over many years he studied and practised art in special art academies in Antwerp (Kunst Academie), Amsterdam (Kunst en Cultuur Academie), Los Angeles (Plastic Art Academy LA West), Newcastle (Art in England) and London (Private art academy EcoBro) He has a passion for creating 3Dimensional art and creating abstract personal portraits. He is a member of the asociacion de artistas plasticas de Malaga, Spain. He is also the Ambassador for Internations (expats) in Marbella. His (commissioned) work is sold all over the world to private persons and businesses. Joris is a Belgian by birth, but with much experience of living and exhibiting in many parts of the world, for example, London, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Brussels and Amsterdam.
